Masters Tournament"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Season\u00a09<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Masters Tournament for 2020\u00a0National Championship<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Players cannot and have not ever been able to earn more than 1 Seat into the Championship, but additional &#8220;seats&#8221; over the first 1, can be used for the Masters Tournament.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>The\u00a0Bar Poker Open Master&#8217;s Tournament\u00a0is an exclusive tournament for those talented enough to win multiple seats online to play for a massive prize.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Once a player achieves\u00a0 2 or\u00a0 more &#8220;unused&#8221; seats during the period of June 17th &#8211; May 3rd, that 2nd seat becomes a &#8220;Master&#8217;s Ticket&#8221; and every Master&#8217;s Ticket won above and beyond that becomes a rebuy\/add-on in this championship event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Any seats over\u00a0the initial 1 Earned must be used for the Masters and have no other value other than as entry or rebuy\/add-on in the Masters Event so make sure you are available to participate int eh Masters Tournament on May 9th.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>The prize\u00a0of the Masters Event\u00a0 is a Day 1 &#8220;bye&#8221;\u00a0right into Day 2 of the 2020 National Championship before you even step foot into the Golden Nugget.\u00a0 \u00a0By winning this &#8220;Bye&#8221;&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>You will already be &#8220;in the money&#8221; with an average stack of 500,000<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\"><strong>You will by-pass 95% of the field for the $300,000\u00a0Expected Payout!<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>(this means you will have only 50 players to compete against if we reach 1,000 entries)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Date:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Saturday,\u00a0May 9<span class=\"s1\">th<\/span>, 2020 11:30am (Eastern Time)<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Registration opens at 10:30 am (Eastern Time)<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Late Registration allowed until 12:15 pm (Eastern Time)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost for Entry:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>500 Temporary\u00a0Tokens (Invite only)<\/strong><br \/>\nAutomatically\u00a0added\u00a0at 9AM for any players with more than 1 &#8220;Championship Seat&#8221; remaining in their account.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rebuys Allowed for\u00a0each additional seat won,\u00a0over\u00a02 (500 tokens for each rebuy)<\/strong><br \/>\n(valid at any time when player has 3,000 or fewer chips)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add-on is also allowed\u00a0for\u00a0each seat won (500 tokens for each add-on)<\/strong><br \/>\n(valid during Break after Level 8)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Tournament Format:<\/strong><br \/>\n3,000 Starting Stack<br \/>\n15 Min Levels<br \/>\nRebuys Allowed for 8 Levels<br \/>\nAdd-On Allowed during the break (after level 8)<br \/>\n*Re-buys can be made at any point that you have 3,000 chips or less, so this means you can rebuy in the beginning to start with 6,000 chips.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>How To Rebuy\/Add-On:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>As a way to only allow rebuys for players that earned them, we will be dispersing players 500 tokens after 9:00 AM on the day of the event for every additional seat you\u00a0won,\u00a0more than 2.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0These tokens will be removed from your account, they will be removed after the tournament so you will need to use them or lose them.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Example:<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you have 8 Total Seats Won this season<br \/>\nYou will be given 500 Tokens On Saturday after 9AM<br \/>\n8 Seats Won &#8211;\u00a01 Vegas Championship Seat =\u00a07 Seats to use for\u00a0Masters<br \/>\n7\u00a0x 500 Tokens Per Seat = 3,500 Tokens<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rebuy\/Add-On opportunities:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; You can rebuy at the beginning of tournament or <strong>at any time you are at or below 3,000 chips<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; You can only add-on for 3,000 chips during the break (after level 8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><br \/>\nGRAND PRIZE:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>The Winner of this event will Win a \u201cBye\u201d into Day 2 of the Las Vegas National Championship with a Guaranteed Average Chipstack (600,000 chips).<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p3\">This will allow the player to get past 95% of the field and instantly \u201cin the money\u201d during Day 2 with a 500,000 chip-stack (the expected field average).<\/li>\n<li class=\"p3\">Winner may also still use their earned\u00a0National Championship Seat to compete in Day 1A and\/or re-enter for $235 to play in Day 1B for a larger stack.<br \/>\nIf player bags chips greater in value than the 600,000 average stack during any Day1, they will start Day 2 with the larger stack.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p3\">If there is a field of 1,000 players,\u00a0<strong>you will only have to beat out 50 players<\/strong>\u00a0for the lions share of the\u00a0expected $300,000 on the Televised Final Table!<\/li>\n<li class=\"p3\">You will also be guaranteed\u00a0$500 or more for\u00a0making it to day 2 before even getting to Vegas!<br \/>\n<em><em>(last year minimum payout for making Day 2 was $700)<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>This prize and your seats are non-transferrable, have no cash value, and can only be used for the 2020\u00a0Las Vegas National Championship.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Please do not play in the Masters Event (or in any of the weekly qualifiers for that matter) if you cannot make the tournament.\u00a0 \u00a0You would have nothing to gain and you would only be taking a prize from someone who plans to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Use your tokens for other promotions, like the &#8220;High Roller&#8221; Tournaments.\u00a0 Any masters seats\/rebuys or championship seats that are not used for Vegas or the Masters Event will be expired and cannot be used for any future promotions or events.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Masters Tickets Expiration:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Players that won multiple seats and used those seats in either the East Coast Championship AND\/OR the East Coast Masters Tournament will need to earn an additional seat for the Masters Tournament.\u00a0 Meaning that\u00a0<strong>players with a remaining balance of 2 or more Seats Won<\/strong>\u00a0after any championship redemptions are reconciled will be able to use in the next Bar Poker Open Masters Tournament.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong>Players that win additional BPO seats at Local League Events<\/strong>, can use the additional seats for entry in the Masters! Please \u00a0make sure your league enters your seat won well in advance of the Masters Championship.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><strong>Qualification Examples:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><strong>Player Wins 1 Seat May 26, 2019 &#8211;\u00a0October 2019<\/strong>, who did not use the seat at the East Coast Championship, will only need to win 1 more seat during\u00a0October 20, 2019 &#8211; May 3, 2020.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><strong>Player Wins 2 Seats May 26,\u00a0 2019 &#8211;\u00a0October 2019<\/strong>, who did not use\u00a0a seat at\u00a0another Championship, will be eligible for the 2020 Las Vega Masters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How would you of &#8220;used&#8221; a prior seat that you won?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you participated in and used a seat in a BPO Sponsored Championship or the Super High Roller Challenge in April, from July 2019 &#8211; Now,\u00a0your seat\u00a0would\u00a0be deducted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What if you don&#8217;t use a rebuy\/add-on you earned?<br \/>\n<\/strong>\u00a0To restrict who can and who can&#8217;t rebuy, we deposit amount of tokens nobody has in their accounts.\u00a0 The tokens we used are only a way to limit who can and can&#8217;t add-on or rebuy.\u00a0 You did not actually &#8220;earn&#8221; 500 tokens.\u00a0\u00a0Any rebuys or add-ons you do not use as a player will be removed from your dashboard.\u00a0 Additional seats and\/or tokens\u00a0are not usable for any other more seats into the championship or any other promotion.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Use them in the 2020 Masters Tournament, or lose them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have any future questions regarding this tournament or the rules of this tournament, please email us at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:qualify@barpokeropen.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">qualify@barpokeropen.com<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Season\u00a09 Masters Tournament for 2020\u00a0National Championship Players cannot and have not ever been able to earn more than 1 Seat into the Championship, but additional &#8220;seats&#8221; over the first 1, can be used for the Masters Tournament.
