BPO Championship: Leo Stankus Off To A Fast Start

Leo Stankus (Steel City Poker, Pittsburg, PA)

While most players are just getting into their seats here in the Championship Event, Leo Stankus is already putting his chips to work. As we walk past the table we see Stankus has already nearly double his starting stack just minutes into the tournament.

He tells us of the hand where he held pocket jacks on a ten high board against two opponents. Both players held top pair and he was able to get the maximum value. He is now nearing the 50,000 chip mark and off to a great start here in the first level.
