The action was very deliberate on the money bubble with a $500 pay jump between 63rd and 64th and it took four rounds of hand-for-hand play to get them in the money.

And when it was done, everyone was getting some cash.

There were two all-ins called at two different tables, play was held up until all other hands were complete and they were run out.

On one table, Beth Hamill (Riverchasers) was all in for her 2,000 ante. There’s was a limp from middle position before Fernando Contreras (Pikes Peak Poker) moved all in as well and the early limper released. Hamill ran into a monster when her A♦ 7♣ was dominated by Contreras’ K♥ K♣ and Hamill could not find a save on the 7♠ 6♠ 5♦ Q♠ 8♦ board to exit on the bubble.

But there was another hand to settle.

Thomas Wolfram (Suit Up Poker) was short on a neighboring table after doubling an opponent earlier and moved his 9,000 stack all in. Victoria Dixon (Riverchasers) called to put him at risk next to act and the rest of the table released. Wolfram was dominating for the double up with K♥ Q♣ against Qs 8♦ and faded the 9♥ 9♦ 4♠ flop. The bad card came for him on the 8♥ turn and he was eliminated after the A♣ river.

Because both players were eliminated on the same hand at separate tables, they each chopped up the $500 for a 63rd place finish.

Remaining payouts with 27 advancing to Day 2:

28th – 36th: $635
37th – 45th: $590
46th – 54th: $545
55th – 63rd: $500
