Caryn Bustos is all smiles as she takes the lead

In a battle of the two biggest stacks, Nick Sims opened to 475,000 from under the gun and Caryn Bustos three-bet to 875,000 from the cutoff. The button and blinds released and Sims moved all in after a minutes thought. Bustos would be the one at risk if she called, and she did after a short tank.

Sims: Qs Qh
Bustos: Ah 4h

Bustos was in a lot of trouble and needed to pair her ace or some magic cards to stay at the final table. She caught a small piece of the Kc 5s 4d flop, missed the 8h turn, but the crowd went wild when she popped the 4c river for trip fours.

The dealer broke down her stack and she was all in for 4,400,000 and grabbed the chip lead.

Caryn Bustos – 9,200,000
Nick Sims – 3,800,000
