BPO Championship: Garcia Cracks Aces To Survive
We hear a loud commotion in the room and see Marlon Garcia stand up out of his chair and begin to clap and cheer in celebration. We rush over to what the celebration is about and he certainly has a reason to be happy.
Garcia moved all in for his last 134,000 and an opponent made the call tabling A♦A♣. Garcia saw the bad news as he showed his 8♣8♥. The dealer fanned the 3♠6♦9♠ flop and things did not look good for Garcia.
The dealer burned and turned the 8♠ and Garcia spiked his set of eights to take the lead. The 7♦ completed the board and the celebration began. Garcia had cracked his opponents pocket rockets and survived his all in moment.
