Michael Peace (Nevada Poker League) celebrates

The good times continue and the volume level has increased even as the field drops lower.

One particular yell came from a front table and we arrived in time to see Michael Peace of the Nevada Poker League getting an opponent all in. Peace had a race with 8♥ 8♣ against K♥ 9♠ and his neighbor gave a “booyah!” yell after the J♠ T♥ 8♦ flop. Peace needed to fade an open-ended straight draw and he picked up the knockout after the 4♣ turn and 3c river finished the board. He still has a little work, his now 27,400 is still a good bit below the average stack.
